CPH Light Festival Rebrand

The Copenhagen Light Festival celebrates the darkest winters in Denmark with dynamic light exhibitions created by a variety of artists. The ever-evolving festival brings the city to life while fostering a sense of community through light and art.


OBSTACLE

Copenhagen Light Festival’s previous identity didn’t fully capture the festival’s evolving and vibrant nature. They needed a timeless yet dynamic brand to reflect the event's creative and ever-changing exhibitions.

STRATEGY

For the rebrand, I crafted an identity that remains adaptable yet timeless, ensuring consistency even as the festival changes each year. The rebrand includes original photography in marketing, showcasing the unique light installations. The app we developed provides intuitive wayfinding for users to navigate the magical streets of Copenhagen during the festival. I also collaborated on the animation and environmental elements to create an immersive and visually stunning experience.
